Private prescriptions
At KK podiatry, our podiatrist has the independent prescribing annotation which means the podiatrist is able to prescribe any medicine within their scope of practice. This would be limited to prescribing medications that treat our clients foot conditions only and would be considered if required following a full medical history and initial assessment.
Appointments:
Prior to your first appointment you will be required to complete a confidential medical history form. This will be emailed to you on making the appointment. You can either bring this with you to your appointment or send by email in advance to info@kkpodiatry.co.uk.
Whilst the content of this form may seem irrelevant for some, without it, we cannot assess, diagnosis and treat according to individual needs.
Initial assessment appointments are up to 40 minutes with subsequent follow up appointments lasting up to 30 minutes. Some treatments and/or assessment may take longer but this will be discussed at your initial appointment if this is required.
