Cryotherapy or Cryosurgery  with CryoPen

Cryotherapy or Cryosurgery is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions in a matter of seconds and no anaesthesia is required. The procedure is quick, and aftercare is minimal, with results in as little as one treatment!

What can be treated?

Verrucas are warts that occur on the feet. They are the same as warts on any other part of the body. They are flat rather than raised like a art due to them usually being on a weight bearing area.

Treatment Method

First freeze cycle

The clinical will hold the applicator as close as possible to the lesion, and move it quickly towards and away from it. Depending on the lesion size and depth, the treatment could be 5 to 30 seconds

Thaw

After the first freezing cycle, the tissue will be allowed to thaw for about 30 seconds.
Second Freezing cycle
The second freeze cycle will start. The tissue will freeze faster than the first cycle.

CryoPen Cryosurgery can treat all common benign skin lesions including age spots, warts, skin tags, verrucas, cherry angioma and many more. The number of treatments required depends on the type of lesion treated. The majority of lesions only require 1 treatment; however, some large or deeper lesions may require a series of treatment.

If you have many lesions or would like some advice on your suitability for CryoPen, please feel free to contact via telephone, email or WhatsApp.

Mole removal requires a letter from your GP or Map My Mole to confirm no malignancy is present. We can not proceed without this confirmation, or can we remove malignant lesions.

Cost

Treatment is £70 for a consultation and removal of 1 lesion.
Further lesions can be removed at just £40 each.

We recommend no more than 5 lesions are treated in a single appointment to allow for optimal healing.
